On May 1st, 2025, the RESPONSE project marked a major milestone in Dijon with the launch of the collective self-consumption operation in the residential buildings in the Fontaine d’Ouche district. This operation enables solar energy produced on residential rooftops to power not only the common spaces of the buildings but also the tenants’ homes. It involves two major local social housing providers, Grand Dijon Habitat and Orvitis, and benefits residents of the Franche-Comté and Ile de France housing blocks. From now on, tenants should save money on both their rent and their electricity bills!
